In gas detection applications such as oil and gas pipeline inspection, refineries, industrial parks and landfills, BLV Tech strives to meet customers' complex requirements and provide unparalleled efficiency and accuracy. Now BLV Tech has launched a new flagship product: BL-CH4, a lightweight, drone-based laser methane detection sensor. BL-CH4 features an integrated design with five modules: laser receiver, laser indicator light, laser emission, RGB camera and laser ranging. Its advanced sensor arrays combined with sophisticated algorithms quickly identify methane sources, helping to quickly detect leaks and take emergency action.
For gas inspection, the BL-CH4 uses unique automatic rotation detection to detect large areas. The rotation angle of different angles can be selected to cover the monitoring of different sizes of areas. It can realize automatic, all-round and efficient inspection.
The BL-CH4 is a lightweight, high-sensitivity gas detector based on tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS), which enables rapid identification of methane from a distance of up to 300 m or at a concentration as low as 5 ppm.m.
